It's all about the timing and the vulnerability of a person. You can easily hone your Falcon Punching in Training Mode. After all, jumping and beating up a Computer does so much fun. It's kind of like the original Smash Brothers, where Reflector and Falcon Punch at the edge do so much help.

The original Smash had the most balenced roster and the most simplistic game play. It really came down to good timing and some techniques like spiking. It was about mastering completely all your moves, honing your timing and judging distance. now it seems to be a contest of who is the cheapest. Everyone just complains about how much so-and-so has fast smashes ANd other great moves so that they can make an excuse for losing. In the end, Nintendo should cut down on the characters and rotate in some new ones. Inevitably Nintendo will just add more and more to satisfy everyone's wishes until the game is more of a "who can I play now in this game" than a true fighter.

Well, a game tends to get more old and outdated as it reaches the third installment. But some cases of Brawl were really bad. For example, the useless amount of trophies from the latest spin-off games in Nintendo were really uncool, and some stages don't have so much of a true secret towards them. A lot of features have been touched upon but not used optimally like Melee, and the game's main attractions are good yet bad. The game balances all of its wide variety of modes and it suffers from it.

I wish they'd make the stages bigger... I remember how big all the stages used to feel and not just ina "big" multi-level stage. like wide open areas to run and grassy plains :haha:

I notice that this same thing happened with Halo 3. At the school I was attending, Halo 3 was the biggest event ever. There were hordes of kids wearing "Finish the Fight" t-shirts, someone had a Master Chief Helmet, etc. After it was released, Halo 3 wasn't mentioned by anyone... which was pretty eerie.

Bottom Line: The second is usually better than the third.

hmm, although, with the added characters, I rather prefer Brawl over Melee, but it did nerf some characters, in terms of shiek the biggest complaint is down a in midair, that was nerfed a bit...

Aqua

...
The first time I played Brawl and used Sheik...
I kept on dying because of Down A...

Sheik was soooooooo different (and better) in Melee...
But Zelda improved imo.

Vell

oh my god I loved Melee Shiek.

WHY DID YOU CHANEG THE DOWN A?!

All of the Star Fox characters are swift yaoi furries that like to use guns (not just their blaster  8) ) and other sci-fi miscellany to wipe out their opponent...

Though they're all agile characters, that does make them uncontrollable at times. I find that Falco was the easiest for me to control, and Wolf was a disobidient doggie a lot of the times, especially with the Side B going at bad places. Fox though is fast, but he's weak...Really weak. I don't remember any good finishers with him...

EPIC WIN! POST 333!!!

uAir if you can pull it off is great for juggling BUT Fox #1 move is the uSmash...Epicly great...Makes a nice combo with tap a right to the uSmash. I remember his hold-DownA was nice for popping up an enemy and his dSmash was great to set up a shine spike.

Im flipping sick at BRAWL! Actually... Im just good a shit talking people while we play. But thats part of brawl so im sick at it? :O.o:

Lots of people claim they are very good at Brawl, but they don't live up to that reputation.

I wouldn't go braggadocio and say you're the best at Brawl or something. Online matches can't determine a single thing because of the high amounts of lag, and it's a very imbalanced game. It's always been. No one cares though. I don't. :P

It's just all goes with my belief in leisurely playing Brawl.  8)

Mmm... claiming you're really good at Brawl really doesn't mean /too/ much because you'd eventually lose...

Usually when I face someone new online (1v1 with less lag :P), I win the first few matches then it becomes more even because my opponent figures out my style of fighting (and I start to get bored)

Yeah so...

Wouldn't it be cool if we had a CP Brawl tournament? :P

No, it wouldn't.

It would actually. However I personally won't be in it because I frankly don't really care. XD Besides, we all know you're going to execute your cheap techniques with Zelda and all. >:V

There would be enough people and all...just that we need to have mass organizational skills and there needs to be a good reward. Wasn't this idea brought up already? o.o

EDIT: Found it...
